Muskoka Music Festival Presents
Grant Lawrence and friends: an evening of stories and songs in at the Gravenhurst Opera House
with special musical guests Matthew Barber, Hannah Georgas, Clerel, and Miranda Mulholland
Inspired by the late, great Stuart McLean and "The Vinyl Cafe", join raconteur-extraordinaire Grant Lawrence for an evening to remember in Gravenhurst, as he brings his hit "Stories and Songs" touring show to the historic Opera House for the first time.
The acclaimed bestselling author ("Adventures in Solitude", "Return to Solitude", "The Lonely End of the Rink") and longtime national radio host from Vancouver will share his hilarious stories from his West Coast upbringing in Desolation Sound BC, often described as "The Beachcombers meets The Shining", as well as his many years as a gimpy goalie in the beer leagues.
Joining Grant to provide songs between the stories will be a cast of all-star Canadian musicians, including the award-winning chanteuse Jill Barber, Matthew Barber, Clerel, Hannah Georgas and Gravenhurst's own JUNO nominated sensation Miranda Mulholland.
Regular Tickets $45 + Tax - Available at the Opera House Box Office
